The public directory only includes providers whose active Suffolk County license, business identity, relevant category, and company service information have been matched. Unconfirmed businesses remain in a private research pipeline.
How we verify a provider
We search the Suffolk County Consumer Affairs registry, match the legal business name using corroborating phone, address, email-domain, or website evidence, confirm a relevant category such as Waterproofing, and record the license expiration and date checked. A company website by itself is not enough.
Referral measurement
Outbound website links include standard campaign tags identifying this guide as the referral source. This helps measure whether the directory is useful. A website click is reported as a referral—not as a customer lead.
Future sponsorships
